  We have done many private classes for church groups, garden clubs, moms' clubs and birthday parties. Children as well as adults love a cooking class for their birthday! Bridal showers are a great time for a private class. This is a great way to eat well, be entertained and learn something all at the same time! We consider all requests for specific cooking classes and would love to hear from you.

University Survival

If you are a college-bound student, this is the class for you!  Learn how to “fend for yourself” as you learn kitchen basics.  Gretchen will advise you on stocking the pantry and freezer with good healthy foods that will make tasty meals with minimal preparation, basic cook skills and easy clean-up.

The recipes and instructions will include short-cuts using some prepared food items, will show the student how “cooking ahead” can translate into flavorful meals, with short cooking times during the week.  Gretchen will also instruct your student to use “leftovers” and surprise themselves with fantastic, healthy meals.  This will be a fun chance for students to learn some cooking abilities that will last them a lifetime!

Company for Breakfast

These baked-goods require no time to “rise”, and most are ready for eating in less than an hour. Gretchen will demonstrate some unique recipes for Muffins, Shortbreads, Biscuits and Coffeecakes. Savor the aromas and flavors!


Easy Meals in Foil

    This is a quick and easy way to put a meal together or to use leftovers. As a bonus you have quick clean-up time after dinner! You can “customize” the packets according to likes and dislikes of yourself and family so everyone gets what they love! There is no limit to the foods you can combine, and they can be grilled or baked in the oven.

Eileen Quinn is a chef/caterer who received her training in the Caribbean where she later owned the Cabana Grille in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. In addition, she has worked as a corporate event planner and displayed her skills in many TV spots.

Along with delicious food, Chef Eileen is all about beautiful food and she will demonstrate innovative presentation.
